I’m getting the hang of TikTok. It’s actually quite fun, there’s something satisfying about sticking together blocks of video to produce something that vaguely resembles an advert for my books, generally to a Richard Cheese track.
Here’s an example. If the link works…
Currently it’s having no effect on my sales. That’s something that comes with time, if it all. For now it makes me feel like I’m marketing which is a good thing. In an ideal world I’d have enough money from writing to do what I want with me life.
Which is basically more writing.
Until then TikTok displacement activity, and engaging with the rather good bunch of people I have on Twitter (now that’s a rare thing) is on the menu.
Speaking of which.
Today’s suggested read is an excellent anthology of speculative fiction, the author’s got a way with words and an impressive imagination. Best of all there’s a link between the stories hereat and his upcoming Magpie series which I am looking forward to immensely.
So as the saying goes, grab yerself a punnet and enjoy some fascinating stories!
Back to the Canva mines for me.
